Very clean and welcoming facility situated in Ktown, Los Angeles. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is not as drab as a lot of the other places. Would definitely recommend to my family and/or friends when they need service!

I recently took a tour of this nursing facility and was extremely impressed on how well the Alcott team cared for their residents. The staff was very personable and nurturing to their residents. It's nice to know that the team goes above and beyond with their quality of care. I absolutely recommend this nursing facility.

My grandma stayed there for couple months. Their staffs and nurses were very friendly and kindly answer all her questions. And took really good care of her. Their facility is very clean too! I would highly recommend Alcott Rehab for your grand parents!

I am a nurse here and travel from Whittier to come work. It is a nice place to work and our new Administrator makes us feel appreciated with all the new things he's doing for us as well as the patients. Im glad i stayed and plan on staying. I feel good things are coming for everyone living and working at Alcott. Well worth the travel :).

Took my grandma to their facility because of a recommendation from a friend. Immediately I noticed how clean it is and how hospital the staff is. They were welcoming and and more than helpful with all my questions. Whether you speak english, spanish or korean, the work staff there can assist you. Their facility makes you feel comfortable and most importantly my grandma is comfortable and being taken care of. You can visit and eat with them which is important to our family. Great place.

I met up my friend at chung ki wa for lunch since she was planning to visit her grandmother who is at aclott after. I decided to follow her to say hi to her grandmother, because it has been a long time since l last saw her when I was in elementary school. It was good to see her again and I was glad that she was recovering well after being discharge from the hospital. I felt the facility was very clean and the staff were very friendly. It was also nice how the nurses spoke Korean and were able to communicate and attend to my friend's grandmother.

I have to say, Alcott has a tremendous quality of care for anyone that walks in. It's an extremely warm and friendly environment for patients, family, and staff. I've been here a few times for family friends and each time I come in, not only is the staff warm, inviting, and friendly, but the residents are always happy and smiling. I've met Martin the admin of the facility and he does a tremendous job making sure his team provides the best care. I'd definitely recommend Alcott to anyone looking for a high-quality nursing facility that really cares for and about your family.

A fantastic nursing home. This is k-towns #1 nursing home in my opinion. Beautiful (older) facility with a great staff. Nighttime noise was too loud and the food was lousy. But I didn't choose Alcott for the food. I was home a week early and that's what I remember.

My experience with Alcott has been great so far. My father got admitted to Alcott after spending 28 days at St. Vincent medical center. The admission director, Nelda M was awesome! She kept in touch with me for over 20 days so my Dad can come to Alcott without any issues. I am hoping he will walk again in 3 months after getting PT at Alcott. I know Alcott will do their best to make my Dad better. Thank you so much Nelda, nurses, and other medical staff.

Review like this is important to the future improvements and development of facility. 2 days ago was visited an older distant relative that was recovering from his sickness, he has no family here that is why he landed at Alcott Rehab Hosp. This facility is superb, when u walk in staff are courteous, respectful and you will they are sincere in the job. The facility is very clean, organize. I ask me relative to call someone for him, so help him get up his bed, i literally counted, the skilled nurse came in less than a minute. Attentiveness, care and urgency very important in this kind of facility. Yes, if I knew someone looking for an institution like this, I will highly recommend ALCOTT, I hope it's not me in the future. , Kudos to All staff and Management. K --- knows Best !!

Alcott Rehabilitation Hospital was my doctor’s suggestion for my Mother when she was at Hollywood Presbyterian after hip replacement surgery. He called it “#1 in korea town,” and after touring Grandpark, olimpia convalescent, and mid wilshirehealth I see why he prefers Alcott Rehab. The facility was neat, clean, didn’t smell at all, and the staff was serious about care. Maybe a little too serious because it took a few days for me to understand that they are direct professional and not always bubbly and chatty. Don’t get me wrong, I like those overly friendly personalities, but with my mom’s care, I want her to get serious quality care. I want to thank Mrs Myung for her attention to detail with my mom and how she addressed a couple concerns. She jumped on it and didn’t waste any time. Now that my moms at home, I’m telling people how Alcott is the #1 Korean skilled nursing in Los Angeles.

I wanted to thank Nelda for giving me a great tour today. Alcott seems like a really beautiful facility with Nice staff...but I was disappointed that they are 100% Korean! Unfortunately my grandma is not. I am also looking for a long term facility and Alcott seemed geared to providing rehab and sending people home. They told me that 13/13 of the last discharges had all gone home. I want to ask the next place how many they sent home, because that seemed like a good statistic. I tried to talk to a resident but needed a translator. I read online to ask residents questions, so I asked about the food. I was told Alcott is good, but food is not as good. She laughed as she said it, but I got her point. I was still impressed. They had the most peaceful patio garden at the entrance and everybody seemed happy, smiling and it looked like a better place than the two I toured earlier. They look like a really nice nursing home and they look like they care. They gave me some good recommendations of where to go next and I will try that, but I am very disappointed that Alcott will not be the next stop for my grandma. Thanks again Nelda.

Our experience with Alcott has not only been very satisfying but has exceeded our expectations. My 91 year old father fell and as a result suffered two brain surgeries. This was further compounded by a small stroke. When he was admitted to Alcott he was very weak. After several weeks of therapy and loving care he slowly regained his strength and has become mentally more alert. I give all the credit of my father's amazing recovery to the staff at Alcott. The dedicated team of the physical therapists and the nurses and the CNA have been heroic. My father developed dysphasia and the speech therapist worked closely with my father to get his food and it's consistently just right to fit his needs. My family has been astonished to see the recovery of our father. Alcott's staff not only cares for my father's physical needs but also takes thoughtful care to meet his emotional needs and dignity. My father has told me numerous times that everybody works so hard and is so kind to him. We are so blessed to have our father at Alcott.

I want to thank Nelda (Admission) for helping me and our family when we had to choose a nursing/rehabilitation facility when my mom left the hospital after a stroke. She even gave me her cell phone number to reach her if our family had any questions and answered the phone when I called her in the evening hours. Not being able to be there for my mom was very stressful since I live out of the State, but Nelda eased my worries and I really appreciated it. I just returned home from visiting my mom at Alcott. The staff I met were very friendly and made me think we made a right choice for selecting Alcott for my mom's care. I was impressed that non Korean speaking staff knew some Korean words to communicate with the patients. I look forward to seeing my mom in few weeks and hopeful that her condition will improve under the Alcott Rehabilitation staff care.

I had my both mother and father in-laws stayed at this rehab center few years ago, and now I currently have few people that I used to know also staying in this place. So I visit them occasionally. Whenever I come here, I can't stop saying "THANK YOU" to them. My family and friends like this place so much for their services and professional care they give to the patients and the family members. I strongly recommend this Alcott Rehab Center to everyone. This facility is not only very clean, but also the caregivers/nurses have the best set of skills for patient care. I currently work for one of the hospitals in LA city area. I know how the patients should be treated, and I know what the healthcare environment is like. With my 32 years of experience in healthcare, I believe the patient care this place provides would be one of the best and you can trust. Thank you, Alcott Rehab!!!

I toured this facility and found the staff friendly and helpful. They directed me to who I was visiting and even walked with me to the room. The building smelled fresh and the garden was very pretty with blooming flowers. Staff went out of my way to make sure that I parked on the right side of the street because of street cleaning days, and I was impressed that they took the time to care that I did not get a ticket. I think that shows a good example of the type of care they provide their patients.

My grandma was transferred here after being discharged from the hospital. She received good care and was able to return home. When I visited, I was glad to see that she was well taken care of.

I toured this facility and found the staff friendly and helpful. They directed me to who I was visiting and even walked with me to the room. The building smelled fresh and the garden was very pretty with blooming flowers. I can see why people say this is Korea Town (k-town)'s number one #1 nursing home for skilled nursing and rehab. Staff went out of my way to make sure that I parked on the right side of the street because of street cleaning days, and I was impressed that they took the time to care that I did not get a ticket. I think that shows a good example of the type of care they provide their patients.

I heard about this facility from a friend and I decided to check it out because my grandpa needed their services. The moment I walked in I was greeted kindly by the staff and they asked if I needed some help. I told them I came in for a tour because I was looking for a skilled nursing facility for my grandpa. The staff was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to answer all of my hundred questions. I also noticed the facility was very well kept inside and out. I would definitely feel comfortable about bringing my grandpa to an environment like this!

The nurses here are nice and take good care of the elderly here. The manager is nice and he smiles and waves to the grandmothers and grandfathers. The room cleaners keep the place clean. This place was recommended by my grandmother's doctor and we are glad she is here. The most important thing is my grandmother is happy here and would not want to move to a different place. The only negative is that parking could be better.

Navigation got me to my destination so fast and talked to me the whole time getting there

It is everyone"s fear that the day our loved ones or love one gets ill and needs medical assistance that they are provided with the highest standards and most importantly whom to trust. I love my Grandmother very much and it goes without saying I have the highest standards when it comes to her care and housing. I toured countless facilities and was starting to doubt our state regulated nursing facilities. i will not mention any names but this all came to a dramatic change when i arrived at Alcott. Immediately the staff was extremely welcoming not just to me but most importantly my Grandmother (There soon to be patient). It was as if the whole staff had known her for years. With that welcoming , clean facilities it seemed like a no brainer. That was even before I met Admissions Director Nelda, she couldn't of been more welcoming and most of all compasionate to our case which is virtually impossible to find no matter where you bother to go. With a friendly staff, a clean facility i was contemplating a room for myself :) The difference between a business and a place that exist to motivate is the finishing result of a place that is surrounded by love then that of a place driven or motivated by greed. it is the only believe that i hold true other then a higher power...Love Heals All.......... Thank you Alcott for taking care of my Grandmother. We found at this facility the most important medicine ever created by man,,,,,,,,,LOVE..

This was my moms second admission to a nursing home but first admission to Alcott. I saw a 180 degree change from the other nursing home downtown her doctor had recommended. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. Claire was the absolute best! She organized my moms appointments and worked to get me everything for the home when she was ready. Tina in social services also was a lifesaver. Several times when her appointment transportant was late, Tina told me she’s take care of it. One time, she did more than beyond what she had to do, when she got permission to drive my mom to the follow up appointment herself! She even drove my mom home when I had a car problem, and was just a total lifesaver. That’s what inspired me to share my review today.

Susanne K

I have been in a few facilities of this type but this is far and away the best nursing facility I have visited. The staff is very caring and very friendly and the place is very clean. As other yelpers mentioned there is a very nice patio which allows residents to get out and get some sun. My doctor speaks highly of this place which is an important recommendation. Most important is that residents I speak to are very happy to be here. Because of this I would highly recommend Alcott to any elderly resident needing a nursing facility.

Mike H

Pleasant facility in Koreatown towards Wilton pl and Olympic. Clean building with tidy rooms and a nice outside patio.

Brian K

This is one of best facility for skilled nursing rehab. Few of people I know have been in this facility and enjoyed everything that the facility provided. I would strongly recommend this facility to anyone looking for good skilled nursing facility with kind staffs and clean facility.

Alcott is Korea towns preferred nursing home according to my minister. He said he has referred 4 patients in two years and all went back home after their stay. My mom was number 5 and while far from perfect, they are still the best in Korean nursing home, #1. Tips that I wish I knew/ Food is not great and I brought my mom food a lot, don’t expect anything above what is nutritionally minimum. Ask for a room change because some roommates are not a good match. I asked to move rooms twice. Both times staff were hesitant but when I explained why my mom didn’t like her roommate, they accommodate her. Last, cookies coffee and pizza don’t by care, but they show the staff that you care about them, like you expect them to care about your family. I heard a great suggestion from another family member, if you bring them something to eat, you can make complaints or ask for things you want a little louder.. and they listen. What I came to understand is they listed because they felt like I was interested in them, not because i purchased a Costco pizza. Solid advice I have passed along to several other family members.

I placed my loved one here! My grandpa had a stroke in march and was paralyzed on his right arm and leg. He was bedbound when he arrived at Alcott but has improved greatly. Though his right arm may be a little flaccid, his right leg has made tremendous recovery over the span of 3 months (esp for his age, 92). He is now able to walk over 100 ft w a front wheel walker and a little bit of assistance. Greatly appreciate the team at Alcott for their hard work and services! He is now being discharged to his next level of care.

A great place to work! High quality nurses.

If you're looking for a place for your grand parents in Los Angeles area, I definitely recommend Alcott Rehab. Kind staffs, clean facility, fast responses whenever you need help! Couple of years ago, I helped my patient's mother to stay in this facility and they were very satisfied with this facility. It's one the most popular place among patients as well. I recently was asked by my another patient who wanted to stay in Alcott. I remembered a good memory with alcott and gladly called the facility. They kindly helped to answer questions my patient had and me. Thank you so much alcott and we always support you!!!

The people here are well taken care of and the place is clean. All the nurses seem nice and follow the orders of the doctor. The manager smiles and waves to the korean grandmothers and grandfathers even though he doesn't speak korean. They have a beautiful patio for everybody to use on a nice day. Our doctor told us this is the best place. The most important thing is my grandma is happy here and would not want to go a different place.

This is the place to go for skilled nursing or rehab if you're korean. The staff is friendly, the facility is clean and the care is great!

I had a chance to take a tour of this nursing facility today. First, it's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. Upon entering, I was greeted kindly from a nurse at a station who introduced me to "Nelda" who gave me a tour. The floors are beautiful, the staff was attentive and the residents looked really happy. I dropped in at noon so the residents were having lunch. I would have never expected the food to look and smell so good. They have a Korean menu & program geared towards the Korean community. The grounds were very well kept and they have a very high staff to patient ratio which I was happy to hear. I'm confident in sending my loved one here. Parking is pretty bad in K town so I was surprised that I found a spot so quickly & I learned they have two parking lots.
