I have been looking for an Assisted living for my mother these past few weeks and I can honestly say that Park Regency Retirement Center is one of the best assisted living homes I have encountered thus far. The staff is friendly and helpful. Everyone, including the residents, appear very joyful. All smiles when you walk in. :) The medication staff seems very well trained and educated in regards to assisting residents with their medications, which is always good to know. The facility is very clean and free from foul odors. I am definitely considering this home for my mother and would definitely recommend Park Regency Retirement to anyone in need of an Assisted Living.

My family has toured many facilities and I have to say Park Regency is over the top one of the BEST I have seen. First off they gave us a FULL tour on a Sunday. (most facilities offer tours on weekdays only) Ryan Ziegenbusch, the director, is one of the kindest and extremely knowledgeable representative in the field of caring for aging parents. The living, eating, and recreational rooms were so welcoming, clean and bright. I could go on and on about this place. Make it a must see if you are at the point of moving mom and dad into their next phase of living with help.

Ive had friends hospitalized there. It has a five star rating which is as high as you can get andit really is that nice...

I don't usually write reviews, but I just had to share my thoughts about park regency. My grandmother lives here and we have seen a lot of changes over the years. The care department is absolutely amazing. Brooke, cares so much about each resident. And never lets anything slip past her. The communication with families is unbelievable. She has moved mountains since she has started working here and continues to make great changes. The activities program has somehow done a complete 360. The new activities director is doing a great job and really engages with the residents. There are always activities going on and residents are becoming more involved. Seeing the residents smiling and interacting with their friends is so special. The dining room is cute and old fashion looking. It looks like an actual restaurant. The food is pretty good. My grandma never complains about it. My family knows that my grandma is well taken care of. She is happy even though she has lost her independence. She has friends here, and feels loved by so many people. I am so grateful for all the staff and administration. We don't know how life would be without park regency.

We looked for a while for the perfect assisted living home for my aunt and we found it at Park Regency. Kristina was so welcoming and clear about the services and pricing. Brooke was informative about the medications and respite care. But what impressed me the most was how polite and compassionate the staff has been. I give Park Regency 5 stars for making my aunts transition so easy during this time in her life. I love this place! Jonathan skiles.

I recently was given a tour at Park Regency Retirement Center. Wow, was I impressed! The staff there were all so welcoming and super friendly. The facility shows well and is very clean. The rooms are large, almost like having an apartment. The residents all looked very happy, clean and engaged with the activities that were going on while I was there. I will definitely recommend this facility to my friends and family.

My father was discharged from a skilled nursing care facility and we had to find a place for him very fast. The reviews on yelp were excellent so we called and spoke to Ryan Ziegenbusch. Ryan answered all our questions and was very informative , patient and friendly. We set up a tour of the facility and as soon as we walked in we were amazed at how clean and beautiful the center was. Michele the receptionist, is the first person you meet and we were greeted with a big smile and friendly attitude. We met with Ryan and he gave us the grand tour. The dining area was so nice and the food and choices looked delicious! He showed us the rooms and they were so clean, great size, with a patio and just like home. Ryan scheduled to go meet my father at the skilled nursing facility, he brought the wellness director, Amber Lopez. She is such a caring and kind person. They spoke to my dad and made him feel so comfortable so when he was transferred it would make the transition easier. The day we moved my dad in we met Jorge Garcia the maintenance engineer and he was so awesome. He helped us hook up my dad's tv and anything else we needed. Again, friendly and great personality. I can't say enough about the Park Regency Retirement Center! We will definitely recommend this retirement home to all our family and friends. Thank you all again for such a great experience during a difficult time. We felt so comfortable leaving our dad in your hands! Thanks again Ryan and staff! Robert Mitchell Barbee and family.

Totally recommend park regency retirement center! I went in to tour for my grandma and the costumer service was excellent also the residents had a lot of positive comments about the community and different activities they provide. This will be a great place for my grams in the near future! Thank you for all the great info I was provided with during my tour. P.S. It was very clean and smelt clean as well!

We moved my our 91 year old mother, who has Alzheimers, into the memory care unit a week and a half ago. Her room is quite large in comparison to other communities that we visited. There is plenty of room to move around even though we moved in a queen sized bed, a sofa, two easy chairs, coffee table, kitchen table with 4 chairs and a large dresser. The staff has been very friendly and helpful and you can always find a caregiver when you need one. Though Mom is confused about why she is there, we rest easy knowing that she is receiving excellent care. Oh, and the food is very good as well! We're happy with our choice of the Park Regency.

Really nice people caring for my dad.... Really nice people caring for my dad. They have gone out of there way to help my dad and our family adjust to care change.

My mom has only been at Park Regency for a few days but so far so good! Very attentive and friendly staff. I think a follow up review would be a better view of how things are a few weeks or months down the road.

Best Assisted Living Facility within miles..... My mom just moved here last month and the level of care she gets is 100 times better than when she was at [Removed]. I had become so used to the incompetence at [Removed] that I thought I was expecting too much. As it turns out, the staff at Park Regency is well trained and my Mom receives the care that she deserves. From the General Manager, Jeff [Removed] and the Sales/Marketing department headed up by Kristina [Removed] to the Med Tech personnel headed up by Brooke [Removed], Mom has received the quality of care that I didn't know was possible. This review is my way of thanking them for making the transition seamless for Mom. Park Regency Retirement offers Assisted Living, Memory Care and Hospice service, so Mom will never have to move out of her comfortable studio. I agree that the facility is outdated when it comes to the wall paper etc but who cares. It's clean, the food is great, the A/C works and the staff loves their job and are happy to be there. Since the new General Manager, Jeff, took over a few months ago, Park Regency is making strides to update their physical appeal while keeping their #1 focus on the residents and their care. The location is great too. Less than a mile to Beach and Imperial with shopping centers on all four corners.

Almost 8 months ago I placed my 89-year-old Dad into Assisted Living. He adjusted to the staff and environment after a month. He is able to dress himself, but appreciates receiving the kind of help he needs whenever he is having incontinence issues. Because he has low vision, the Med Techs give him his meds and supplements. He tends not to engage with many of the activities because he cannot see faces or read. But he walks with his walker to the dining room and enjoys being with the same residents at his table during meal times. I have observed a lot over the last 7 months, as each week I take and return my Dad's laundry, take him to and from Starbucks and church. He recently turned 90 and consistently says that he is very happy there. The difference in my mind are the employees. Amber Lopez, the Wellness Director, and her team of experienced Caregivers do a great job at caring for the residents. James Vaughn, the Manager, and Ryan the Development Director are compassionate men who take the time to greet and connect with the residents. Another thing that I believe contributes to Park Regency's wellbeing is its Family Council. It exists to provide opportunities for the family and friends of residents to give input regarding improvements within the facility. Since I joined the Family Council last March, James and Amber have consistently responded with meaningful answers to each of the requests of the Family Council. Everyone agrees that the more eyes that see issues and communicate them, the better for all the residents. Any interested family member or friend of a current resident of Park Regency Retirement may become a member of the Family Council. It meets the second Wednesday of each month at 4pm in the Piano Room.

Park Regency is the best! A couple weeks ago I went for a tour. Every resident seemed comfortable and well cared. Great staff as well. Highly recommend!

My mom and dad are really happy at park Regency memory care/ Wellington. The staff and everyone is so helpful, knowledgeable, respectful and kind. The food is great, expecially the Sunday brunch. They have so many activities to keep the people occupied and happy. I can't recommend them enough.

My father and Grandma live here. They have new management who are making lots of positive changes at the facility. There are more daily activities to keep the residents active. The facility is clean and the staff are wonderful. They have a wonderful Sunday brunch which lots of family members come and eat with thier family who resides at the facility. They have an active Residents Council and an active Family Council. The residents are happy to be living there.

Very nice place Our experience so far with Park Regency Retirement has been a very good one. While not the newest or fanciest looking place we saw, it is clean and well kept. The rooms themselves were very nice. While many places we looked at were just a "room", the living spaces here were very large and felt almost like an apartment. I also really liked their all-inclusive pricing, it made budget planning much simpler.

Park Regency Retirement La Habra CA Family

I toured the community last week looking for my Mom and after looking at five other communities I was very impressed with this place. Kristina was the first one to give us a tour who was wonderful and very informative and then we re-toured with my Mom with Jeff LaBelle, the Administrator who was both extremely knowledgable about neurological diseases and very passionate about his work and very proud of his staff and diversified programs that truly enhance the lives of the residents gave us a deeper look into Park Regency. All of the residents we encounter were smiling and laughing and the staff made us feel so welcome that we thought we were already part of the family. Needless to say our Mom is moving into this amazing community where we feel she will be happy and actually thrive as their activity programs are so extremely diversified and there are some many different options for residents to select form on a daily basis. Of all the communities we toured we saw more smiles here then all of the other places put together! I would highly suggest to take a look at this happy and inspirational place!

I scheduled a tour for my dad who is beginning to have memory problems. Kristina was the sales person who took my information and gave me a tour. The staff all greeted me as we walked thru as well as the people who live there. I saw a nice mix of both men and women which my dad was concerned about. The rooms were large and clean. I was concerned about his next move in case his memory got worse. Kristina showed me the memory care unit which is currently undergoing a renovation. Activity program looked great and had things listed I know my dad will like. I was invited to stay for lunch which unfortunately I did not have time, however those that live there said the food was really good. This is the place for my dad! Now I need to convince him to move out of his house!

This is a great place to live if you are looking for your loved one. I am a professional in the industry and I love to work with Park Regency because they are always so professional and I always receive great feedback from my families that I refer there. They are currently doing some renovations to the building and I love their Idea.

My uncle is currently in here after an accident. This place is definitely the cleanest, best kept facility I've ever visited. Very polite, hard working staff that's greats you with a smile. Love visiting

Can there be such a thing as perfection? First, the price is beyond reasonable. At $150/nt, we had a large, comfortable room with caretaker checking in often. The staff is super helpful and kind. There was not a single person that we did not think was extraordinary. And it starts from the top. When I thanked James Vaughn, the head person, he gave all the credit to the workers. Of course I recognize that the caregiver is where the rubber meets the road, but it is clearly James' humility that sets the tone of cooperation and giving. The head person of marketing, Ryan, is another outstanding person . He does this because of all the right reasons -- assistance to the sick and the loved ones. When we checked in uncle who was dying, a normal place would have made us sign all the State documents before accepting him. But Ryan took the personal risk of letting us spend our last moments with him, and do the legal stuff only after my uncle passed away. On his days off, Ryan volunteers at other places. His heart is so big it fills the whole room. When I first flew into town from Colorado, my aunt had spent the past 10 days staying all day and night with my uncle, and she was totally exhausted. Yet she wanted someone close to be with him and to support her. There were no more beds, but the Center made a room available to me to spend the night. I cannot thank everybody enough for that and all the details they attended to. And you can bet you will never see this kind of flexibility and service in a large institution, where "rules" not "care" dominates the decision making process.

Mike Wong

I was so happy to find this retirement facility several years ago for my aunt who was unable to care for herself any longer. Though it was outdated, that did not matter. What mattered was the care she received, the friendly staff and the cleanliness. When it changed management a few years ago, I was seeing a few things that disappointed me but nothing to cause me to look for another place. Then the current manager came and began rockin and rollin... What a HUGE difference Jeff has made! Not only is he sprucing up the tired building, but he has taken the time to meet with the family members of each residence in order to better know them and their specific needs. I feel so secure in knowing that my aunt is in good hands and I couldn't be happier. Marta G

We toured this community recently for our Mother who has dementia and needs to be in a healthy and secured community. We were impressed with how activie the people were that live there and everyone was talking in groups and seemed very upbeat and engaged. The employees were all smiling and actually stoppped us and said welcome to Park Regency. There seemed to be so much more life and energy here verses the other communities that we have toured. This community was number 10 that we looked at and by far the happiest and most lively place we have seen. Currently our Mother is in a skilled nursing home as she broke her hip and is currently recovering but we have decided this will be her new home. Miracles do still happen and we were told from the hsopital social worker to make a point to see this place and she was right!

My mom just moved here last month and the level of care she gets is 100 times better than when she was at Sunnycrest in Fullerton. Absolutely amazing facility. The staff were so friendly and eager to help and answer multiple questions. The manager Ryan did a magnificent job giving us a tour of the facility and he knew all his tenants by name. This place is a must visit if you are having to make that tough decision to move mom and dad into their next stage of living.

An excellent place for my Mom to be (as a respite) while her house was under construction. Ryan Ziegenbusch was very helpful as director (he was excellent), as well as Amber Lopez, the wellness director. The entire staff was amazing and treated my mom as I had hoped, perfectly. The property was great- my Mom loved the dining. Bottom line, she felt at home and very comfortable, at ease & welcomed. The greatest compliment we could say- my Mom was afraid of going to an assisted living facility and at the end of her stay she was sad to leave. We highly recommend Park Regency Retirement Center

Bigger Room, Big Sale Point For Us So far it is so good for my mom. She likes the atmosphere of the community. I feel they are able to provide care and keep a safe environment. The meals are very good from what I have tasted and it is well planned out and tastes homemade. She is enjoying the activities that is planned out for the residents. I would recommend this community and the main reason I selected this community was based on the room size, it was so much larger than others.

This place is amazing!!! We had to find a place for our dad quickly so we decided to take a tour at Park Regency from their great Yelp reviews. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed. After the tour and sitting down with Ryan Ziegenbusch a very caring and thoughtful man we knew that this was the place and did not have to look elsewhere. After moving our dad in we felt the love of home!!! The facility is well maintained and very organized. Our dad is very picky and stubborn. He loved the staff, food and the residents. It's always a great feeling leaving there with a smile on your face knowing that our dad is in great hands of care. A big shoutout to Ryan and his staff for making this a great experience for our family!!!!

My wife and I toured this facility, looking for a place for my mother in law. The outside is a bit outdated, but the inside is nice. The staff was very friendly. Some of the staff even greeted us. The activities director introduced herself and made us feel very welcomed. Although we did not stay for lunch, the food smelled amazing, and residents seemed to be enjoying themselves. As soon as mom is out of the nursing home, this is where she will be moving. My wife and I feel very confident she will love it here.

We moved my mother in law in a couple of months ago and I would never have thought she would be so happy. This place is great and there is so much to do for her with a very diversified activity program and all of the residents living there are smiling and laughing through out the day. The staff are professional and always smiling which makes this a great place for anyone to move their loved ones. I almost feel over last week when Mom told us that she should have moved here years ago and that she had no idea how wonderful it could be.

Park Regency Retirement Center has very low staff turnover and has a great reputation. Their residents are engaged and happy to live there. The community is being renovated and would be a great option for anyone needing Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, or skilled nursing.
